Price verified July 2026 · a local mart, South Korea
Sharp, hard-carbonated, best somewhere near freezing. Terra is the fizziest of the big Korean lagers and that’s the whole point of it. This one arrives with Son Heung-min pointing at you from the front and his signature scrawled down the side.
Terra x SON 7 special-edition lager, 453ml can costs ₩2,100 at a local mart, South Korea, as of July 2026. ()
What you get
Second shelf of the beer fridge, and the price is a laminated card slotted into the rail: a Terra advert down one end, 2,100 at the other in fat yellow digits doing an impression of a digital display. Above it, green cans with Son Heung-min pointing straight down the lens, TERRA x SON 7 SPECIAL EDITION printed across the top, his signature looped over the side in white.
Squint at the fine print on that side and it reads 453 mL (172 kcal). Not 500, which is what the silhouette of a big Korean can suggests. Worth a look before you stock a fridge on the strength of the shape.
The beer itself is light and a touch sweet, but the carbonation is the personality. It’s sharp enough to scrub your mouth clean between bites of fried chicken, and that same fizz is why it ends up as the base of a somaek: the bubbles bulldoze the edge off the soju instead of leaving it sitting there. Terra plus Chamisul even has a name, 테슬라, teseulla, spelled exactly the way Tesla is spelled here. The joke was never funny and nobody has ever stopped making it.
As for why a footballer is on a beer can: this is Son. In Korea his face is a shelf strategy, and cans like this one go the way collector cans always go, straight into a cabinet unopened.
Price details
| Item | Terra x SON 7 special-edition lager, 453ml can (HiteJinro) |
| Price | ₩2,100 — |
| Where | a local mart, South Korea |
| Date | July 2026 |
| Best for | Fried chicken, anything deep-fried, and mixing somaek where you want the bubbles doing the work. |
| Would I buy again? | Yes, and I’d have picked this one up for the can alone. |
Tip: Drink it very cold. Terra’s whole case falls apart at room temperature. For somaek, roughly three parts soju to seven parts beer is the ratio people work from, and the hard fizz means less stirring than you’d think.
FAQ
How much does Terra beer cost in Korea?
₩2,100 for this 453ml special-edition can at a local mart, July 2026. Convenience stores, supermarkets and restaurants each set their own number, so treat this as one shelf on one day.
Is the Son Heung-min edition a different beer?
As far as I can tell it’s ordinary Terra inside and the artwork is the edition. The can reads 453 mL (172 kcal), so what you’re buying is the same lager wearing a shirt.
Why is Terra used for somaek?
The carbonation does the work. Terra is the sharpest of the big domestic lagers, so the soju gets carried along instead of sitting flat on the tongue. That mix is common enough to have its own nickname: 테슬라, teseulla, spelled the same as Tesla.
This price is as of July 25, 2026 (date of writing) and may vary by store.
