Real Price Korea is a running photo diary of what everyday things actually cost in South Korea. Every entry is a real photo of a real price tag, taken in person, with the place and date recorded.

Who runs this

This site is run by someone living in South Korea who shops, eats, and travels here every week. The prices you see are not scraped from the internet or generated by AI — they are photographed at the counter, on the street, and in the aisle.

Why it exists

Visitors to Korea — tourists, exchange students, working-holiday travelers, and new residents — constantly ask the same question: “How much is this in Korea, and is it worth it?” Guidebooks go stale and blog posts rarely show the actual receipt. Real Price Korea answers that with photos, exact won prices, an approximate USD conversion, and a blunt one-line verdict.

What we cover

Convenience-store food, cafes, street food, Daiso and household goods, Olive Young beauty and health items, groceries, transport, electronics and appliances, dining out, and the real cost of living in Seoul and beyond.
